"...Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted..."

remember you soon.

Beautiful.

That's the only word to describe what I am about to yak next. Yes people, I am telling you to go get this now!

Beautiful character, beautiful world, beautiful storyline, beautiful graphics, beautiful soundtrack...name one thing about this game that isn't beautiful.
I was ultimately dissapointed, because the first time I got this game running on Pip, it crashed half-way (stupid lift glitch mind you) when I was supposedly already immersed into the story. I got it from a friend and I was like, "Dude! Fix it!" And he can't...so I took the matter into my own hands. I downloaded it myself from the net and started all over again...
Even so, it didn't bother me at all. The game is so good, I could play it again and again. Oh yeah, I did check the reviews on how the storyline is boring and the combat is boring and the camera was troublesome...but come on, you're gamers for goodness sake! You were trained to endure anything in this field. A little camera error bugging you? Please...
I, on the other hand find it challenging though. Oh, I also checked that this game was rejected by several publishers because the main protagonist was a woman?!
Now this, really got to my nerve.
*cough cough Isn't the great Lara Croft a woman? (This is not sarcasm, I love her tremendously)
She's an icon, a woman icon. She inspires everyone, male or female. And yeah, she had established her status because the developers had made a hell lot of her games but, if you ever bother to play this game...as Nilin Cartier-Wells, you would find that she is unique in her own way. I wouldn't say she is the spitting image of Lara, but she is Nilin, her own self.
Her memories been stolen, her family torn apart, deceived, tortured...suffering...that was the only thing she knew all her life. Cut her some slack guys and girls, seriously. She is a legend.
About the story, I ain't gonna spoil anything, just play it! I can say this, it involves the memory. Stop. Well, actually more than that...
Anyhow, since it is based in the future, 2078...the soundtrack pretty much suits the game. Techno music... I'm not sure if we advance in real life that's the music we would be hearing but, I recommend you get the soundtrack too. If you played it, you can feel the emotions running in it and relate it.
Gosh I could write longer on this but, that's all I gotta say and if any of you hates this game, I can just say...shame on you.
On the last note, I hope they make a sequel of this game. Man, that'll be so cool.
Who knows, Nilin might be the new 'Tomb Raider'...
But she's not...
She's a Memory Hunter. And she's damn good at it.

"A friend once said, the memory of a single man is a fortress, more complex than the vastest of cities...But we invented a key to the fortress, there are no secrets anymore...My friend's name was Edge, born from the Sensen abuses...He was the first to understand that we were all floating adrift...Edge died to remind us that some intimate doors are not supposed to be opened and that suffering, like painful memories, is just part of life...My name is Nilin Cartier-Wells, I am a Memory Hunter...I can know everything about you, and I can make you believe whatever I want...this is my gift, my legacy...For the first time in my life, I remember exactly who I am...outside my fortress I now have a family to go back to and a world to confront...a damaged world, a world to heal...This is what my friend taught me before he dissapeared...I'll never forget him..."

Nilin Cartier-Wells.
